About Lisa Hopka, DVM

Dr. Hopka was born and raised in Reno, Nevada living there until starting veterinary school in 2014. She attended a 2 + 2 program doing her first two years of veterinary school at Utah State University and her last two years at Washington State University. After graduating veterinary school in May 2018, Dr. Hopka and her husband, Sheldon, moved to Elgin, SC. Sheldon is currently serving our country as an active duty staff sergeant in the Air Force. They live with their 3 wonderful dogs and 2 cats. Dr. Hopka likes to spend her free time hiking and traveling to new places.
